So what does Magges mean? The Greek slang word "magga" or "manga" depending on which regional dialect you use, is the singular noun of a real cool guy or bad ass dude. When someone performs an incredible feat of daring or does something extremely wild and fun, Greeks call it a "maggia"...so we are 5 Magges, playing our instruments feverishly, drinking ouzo with our friends, yelling OPA! at the top of our lungs while our luscious bellydancer Jameela sways exotically, driving our fans into a frenzy...that my friends, is a "maggia"!!!
